A winter afternoon at one of my favourite NYC haunts, Jody William’s Buvette, prompted this stroll in the West Village. Matching the restaurant’s red door was certainly inadvertent, even if delightful.
Buvette is a french Gastroteque which is at once très français and very New York, so I suppose it is fitting that I happened to be clad in the Tricolore that day, which of course, is no departure from the colours of the Stars and Stripes.
I added a splash a feminine glamour to the menswear ensemble with a recently acquired big and bashy racoon fur collar from Ducie, London.
What I Wore: J Crew double-cloth coat in Vibrant Flame; Band of Outsiders double-breasted jacked; custom-made trousers, Club Monaco gloves; Celine Classic Box bag; Ducie fur collar, Celine “Shadow” sunglasses
She brought the raccoon and the long white pants on NY sidewalks. #ouidieux #wheresmycabcausethisraccoondontridethesubway
